Tehran, Feb 16, IRNA � An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale jolted the town of Shahdad in Kerman province on Saturday night.�

The Geophysics Institute affiliated to Tehran University registered the quake at 22:27 hours local time (1857 GMT).


The longitude of the earthquake was 57.45 and its latitude 30.56.

There are no reports of possible damages or casualties so far.
