Tehran, Feb 15, IRNA � An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale jolted vicinity of Nahbandan town in South Khorasan province on Saturday night.

The Geophysics Institute affiliated to Tehran University registered the quake at 20:44 hours local time (1714 GMT).


The longitude of the earthquake was 59.57 and its latitude 30.96.

The quake happened along borders of Southern Khorasan, Sistan and Balouchestan and Kerman provinces.

There are no reports of possible damages or casualties so far.
