TEHRAN, Feb. 9 (MNA) A 2-day negotiations between Iran and IAEA which started Saturday, have ended Sunday afternoon in Tehran.

Iran negotiation team headed by Reza Najafi, Irans permanent ambassador to the IAEA and IAEA experts headed by the Deputy Director for Security Tero Varioranta. This round of negotiations have finished few minutes back..

Iran and the IAEA had signed a 6-part agreement commissioned by Yukiya Amano, the IAEA Secretary-General and Ali Akbar Salehi, head of Irans Atomic Energy Organization in last November in Tehran. Iran agreed to take some voluntary measures intended to improve transparency, including granting access for the IAEA inspectors to Arak heavy water complex and Gachin mine in southern Iran.

So far inspectors have first inspections from these two sites.

The agreement demands Iran to provide additional information to the IAEA. Asked about the major issues of the talks, Ali Akbar Salehi told that negotiations were in line with the 6-part agreement. We hope that these negotiations would not overshadow other activities related to our commitments to Geneva deal, he added.

Salehi called the IAEA negotiators to more equanimity. The IAEA will announce their assessment of measures taken by Iran during talks.
