Zionist regime biggest threat to regional peace, stability: official

Tehran, Feb 8, IRNA – Secretary of Iranˈs Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani said the Zionist regime was the biggest threat to the regional security.

Making the remark in a meeting with the leader of Palestineˈs Islamic Jihad Organization here on Saturday, he stressed Iranˈs continuing support for the Islamic resistance and called on all regional nations to maintain vigilance against the Zionist regime.

Pointing to the resistance of the Syrian nation and government against the enemies plots, he said now the Islamic resistance movement is able to confront the enemies threats with more strength.

He urged all to use every opportunity to fight such threats as the Takfiri groups which are engineered and guided by the Zionist regime.

Congratulating the Iranian official over the victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Abdullah said the humanitarian disaster going on in Gaza such as shortage of electricity, food and medicine, is the outcome of the anti-human policies of the Zionist regime.

He said the Zionist regime has repeatedly proven that it has no commitment to any conventions.
