Nasim–A senior commander of the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (Sepah) said the army’s ground forces are ready and skilled enough to safeguard the country’s borders and secure its territorial integrity.
Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Forces Commander Brig. Gen. Mohammad Pakpour said the forces are well prepared to guarantee safety in every nook and cranny of the country.
Meeting a number of MP from Azerbaijan, Pakpour asserted that the safety parameters inside Iranian borders are high, and most of the troubles are usually sprung from outside of the borders which are addressed by the forces as much as possible.
He underlined Takfiri movements in the region as the number-one peril to its security, and said the Ground Forces of Sepah are well-prepared to counter offensives of any kind to the country’s territorial integrity.
Earlier this year (Jan 15), Pakpour received the “Victory One” medal from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
