Irans Fajr music festival to present Dutch quartet

Irans 29th edition of Fajr International Music Festivalis slated to host a Dutch quartet led by the renowned pianist Wolfert Brederode.
The ensemble will present a music program at the annual festival that will be held at the Eyvan-e Shams Hall in Tehran.

Mats Eilertsen (bassist), Samuel Rohrer (drummer) and Claudio Puntin (clarinetist) will also perform at the quartet held on February 13, 2014.

Fajr International Music Festival is Iran's most prestigious music festival that includes national and international competition sections.

Since its establishment in 1986, many musicians from several countries like Austria, Germany, and France participated in the event.

The festival annually hosts many domestic and foreign artists performing different pieces in various categories such as International and Folk Music, Classical Music and Youth and Women Music.

The 29th Fajr International Music Festival is scheduled to take place from February 13 to 20, 2014.
