Tehran, Feb 3, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Monday reviewed issues of mutual interest as well as regional and international developments with Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
During the meeting, Zarif outlined the achievements of his latest visit to a number of regional countries and stressed Iran’s absolute interest in bolstering ties with Lebanon.
He also briefed the Lebanese official on procedure of nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1.
Mikati voiced his support for return of Iran to international arena after the talks and said these fresh opportunities are important chances for safeguarding interests of both nations.
