IAEA inspectors off to Bandar Abbas to visit Gachin mine

Tehran, Jan 29, IRNA - Inspectors of the UN nuclear watchdog have traveled to Bandar Abbas in southern province of Hormuzgan to visit Gachin mine, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi said here on Wednesday.
Talking to IRNA, Kamalvandi underlined that the inspection will take place in line with a six-point agreement reached between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency officials on November 11, 2013, for further cooperation between the two.

The IAEA inspectors will leave Tehran on Wednesday night after returning from Bandar Abbas, he said.

The agreement was signed by Head of the AEOI Ali-Akbar Salehi and the IAEA Director-General Yukiya Amano in Tehran. According to the agreement Iran allowed the IAEA experts to inspect Arak heavy water facility and Gachin mine.
