Dy FM leaves for Astana to attend Caspian Sea meeting

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour left here for Astana on Tuesday to take part in the 35th Special Caspian Sea Working Group Session.

The session will be held for two days on Wednesday and Thursday, in which special envoys and deputies FMs of five littoral states will participate.

The Russian, Turkmen, Kazakh and Azeri envoys will brief the delegates on issues pertinent to the Caspian Sea legal regime.

A Caspian Sea summit is to be held in Russia in September.
