Tehran, Jan 25, IRNA Iran?s Greco-Roman wrestling team has been crowned champion of International Greco-Roman Wrestling Competition (Yadegar Imam Cup), held in Tehran from January 23-24.
Winning championship title, Iran won three gold and five silver medals and 74 points in the tournament, in which a total of 117 wrestlers from 11 countries had taken part.
Hungary and Azerbaijan each with 55 and 39 points respectively, followed Iran in the list.
Japan with 30, Georgia with 27 and Sweden with 24 points ranked fourth through sixth.
For the first time ever, distinguished teams and world and Olympic top wrestlers competed in Yadegar Imam Cup tournament.
