Credited oil companies ready to enter projects in Iran, minister

Tehran, Jan 25, IRNA Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganehsaid that many credited international oil companies are ready to participate in various projects in Iran.

Talking to IRNA after returning home from his Switzerland visit to take part in the 44th World Economic Forum in Davos, he described the presence of Iran in the event as very positive.


He said on the sidelines of the event, he had meetings with ranking officials of a number of world credited oil companies who expressed readiness to enter Iranian oil projects.

He noted that Iran is working on compiling a new model of oil contract which could be attractive enough to oil companies.

The oil minister reiterated that as an outcome of the Geneva nuclear deal, the sanctions against the Iranian petrochemical industry are starting to ease.

The oil minister accompanied President Hassan Rouhani to the 44th World Economic Forum in Davos.
