President Rouhani, WEF chief meet in Davos

Tehran, Jan 22, IRNA -- President Hassan Rouhani and President of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwabin a meeting in Davos, Switzerland, discussed and exchanged views on Iran?s economic policies.

President Rouhani explained about Iran?s diplomacies in the field of combining the country?s foreign diplomacy with economic interactions with other countries of the world.


Schwab, for his part, thanked President Rouhani for attending WEF in Davos.

Earlier upon his arrival in Zurich International Airport in Switzerland, President Rouhani reiterated that the world countries should benefit from Iran?s presence in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

?Davos is a good opportunity for the world to benefit from Iran?s economic capacities,? President Rouhani said.

President Rouhani, heading a high-ranking delegation, is in Davos to attend the 44th World Economic Forum in the Swiss city.

The Iranian president underscored that his government considers the issue of combining economic and oil diplomacy with Iran?s foreign policy.

?This is a good opportunity for the Islamic Republic of Iran to render its economic capacities and investment opportunities in different sectors as a country with unique capacities and capabilities,? President Rouhani said.
