Najafi off to Spain to attend 34th Fitur

Tehran, Jan 21, IRNA Vice-President and head of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) Mohammad Ali Najafi left Tehan for Spain on Tuesday to take part in the 34th International Tourism Fair due to open on January 22-26.
Najafi is scheduled to meet and confer with Spanish prime minister and secretary-general of the World Tourism Organization.

In the meantime, Najafi will meet Spanish minister of industry, energy and tourism on the sidelines of the inaugural ceremony of the Fitur.

The Iranian Vice-President and his three-member entourage will attend a formal luncheon to be held in his honor by the UNWTO.

On the first day of his visit to Spain, Najafi will take part in a press conference to brief reporters on issues concerning his mission.

IRNA reporter in Madrid said that Najafi will hold talks with Spanish prime minister and director of Spain National Heritage Organization as well as UNWTO Secretary-General Talib al- Rifai.

On the second day of stay in Spain, the Iranian delegation will take part in Symposium of UNWTO Knowledge Network and the Fitur methods and export and International Tourism Opportunities.
