Political directors from the six major world powers are set to hold a meeting on Irans recent nuclear deal in Geneva on January 21, a report says.

On Sunday, Russian news agency ITAR-TASS quoted an informed diplomatic source as saying the political directors would discuss further steps in regard to the nuclear deal inked last November between Tehran and the six world powers.
I can confirm that EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton is convening a meeting on Iran at the level of political directors on January 21, the source said.
The source added that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkovand US Under-Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman would represent Moscow and Washington at the meeting.

On November 24, 2013, Iran and the six major world powers Russia, China, the US, France, Britain and Germany -- inked the nuclear accord in the Swiss city of Geneva. The two sides have agreed to start implementing the agreement from January 20.

Under the Geneva deal, the six countries undertook to provide Iran with some sanctions relief in exchange for Iran agreeing to limit certain aspects of its nuclear activities during a six-month period.

The two sides also agreed that no more nuclear-related sanctions would be imposed on Iran within the same timeframe.
