Tehran, Jan 19, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran on Sunday called great prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) the prophet of moderation and said he managed to bring about a balance between world and religion, not losing hope in the most difficult times.
Addressing a group of officials and guests of the 27th International Islamic Unity Conference, who met the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamanei, in Tehran on Sunday, President Rouhani said the prophet is a model for all and whole the world Muslims for presenting to mankind a civilized society, a rich civilization and a big culture.
“Today, our unity and solidarity should revolve around common points, especially Quran, prophet, prophet tradition, and the religious rituals,” said the president.
He underlined that today, common enemies and interests, dear Quds, the occupied Palestine, bloodshed in the world of Islam, unity in the Muslim world, all in all are tens of pivotal points that can bring us together.
“We should look into the core of differences and remove them. We should confront discrimination, religious rift, cultural poverty, spiritual poverty, economic poverty, social capital poverty and lack of development. We should join hands and rebuild united Islamic Ummah, again reviving the rich Islamic civilization.”
