Austrian Airlines resumes Iran flights

ILNA: Austrian Airlines is to resume Iran flights effective March 11 following a one-year break, according to the Vienna-based daily newspaper Wiener Zeitung.

Flights to Tehran can be booked now, the airlines said.

Austrian Airlines, using Airbus A320 or A319, will fly to Iran five times a week as part of its summer flight schedule.

A subsidiary of Germanys Lufthansa, the Austrian airliner halted its rather lucrative flights to Iran last year because of western sanctions against Tehran.
