Iran FM leaves Baghdad for Amman

Baghdad, Jan 14, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif who is on a regional tour left Baghdad for Jordanian capital, Amman Tuesday afternoon.

Zarif arrived in Baghdad early Tuesday from Beirut, Lebanon, on the second leg of his regional tour.

During his visit to Baghdad, Zarif held meetings with high-ranking Iraqi officials, including Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and discussed issues of mutual interest.
