Iran Deputy FM to join Syrian donors conference

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Countries Hossein Amir Abdollahian is scheduled to take part in the second international Syrian aid conference in Kuwait.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister travels to Kuwait on Wednesday.

"The meeting is to be attended by high-ranking officials and delegations from 86 countries as well as representatives of regional and international organizations. It starts with speech of Ban Ki-moon and Kuwaiti Emir," Amir Abdollahian told ISNA.

The meeting mainly focuses on Syrian developments as well as ways to help Syrian refugees to come back home.

Also the donors of other countries to Syria will be discussed as well.

The attending countries have offered 1.541 million dollars fund to help Syrians. The first Syrian donors conference was held last year.
