TEHRAN (ISNA)- An Iranian researcher and doctor Ali Shayan-Far has managed to increase the level of efficiency and durability of atorvastatin calcium, the most common drug for lipid, using Nicotinamide.


Atorvastatin calcium, the best blockbuster drug, is among biopharmaceutics because of its low solubility and high permeability.

Also an article on 'Coamorphous drug system to improve physicochemical and pharmacokinetic properties of atorvastatin calcium' has been published in Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences out of this research.

Shayan-Far has published two articles in local publications and 33 ones in foreign journals over last 8 years.
