UK progresses in mending ties with Iran

NasimThree months after the UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs told his countrys parliament that will appoint a non-resident charge daffaires tasked with implementing the building of relations, including interim steps on the way towards reopening embassies, his appointee is about to pay his second visit to Tehran on Wednesday.
Diplomatic relations between the two countries broke down in 2011, when William Hague himself announced that all Iranian diplomats had been expelled and given 48 hours to leave the United Kingdom after Iranians raged at British embassy in Tehran to protest the brutal sanctions against the country.

It was on early December 2013 that Britains new nonresident chargs daffaires to Islamic republic Ajay Sharma arrived for talks with his Iranian counterpart and also to visit British diplomatic buildings.

Now, he has revealed to be on his way to Tehran again, to build on positive talks; aim to improve relations for the benefit of our two countries, while Former British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw is also in Terhan, holding press conferences and meeting with his counterparts and other officials.
