Large foreign oil companies in talks with Iran for investment

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Mansour Moazemi announced that foreign oil companies have held talks with Iranian corporations on investment in the country.
"Most of the talks held with well-known international oil companies came due to their demands. No conclusion has yet been made on determining price of energy."

"We have started good contacts with international well-known oil companies which are interested in investment in Iran. A high number of talks and meetings between the corporations and Iranian officials came due to the companies' requests."

He further reiterated that the country does not have any problem in crude export, adding, "At the moment, there are exports limitations caused by political resolutions. Whenever these issues are resolved, the oil ministry will be able to increase crude output and exports."

The Iranian Deputy Oil Minister also noted that the country can double the volume of crude exports.
