Iranian researchers conducting studies to treat renal failure

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian researchers are conducting studies for recovery of urinary incontinence and renal failure by means of stem cells.
"Rouyan research center is working on plans and studies on urinary incontinence by means of treatment cells which include treating urinary incontinence by urinary tract with the origin of urinary tract by fat stem cells.

The research center has been working on cell therapy for acute renal failure. The institute is also working on cell therapy for acute renal failure for three years. The research projects are underway on monkeys in animal phase.

The research center is also working on polycystic kidney disease by means of human mesenchymal stem cells and changing embryonic cells to kidney ones.
