MP: No committee formed to supervise Iran nulcear negotiating team

Tehran, Jan 5, IRNA Head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said on Sunday that he was unaware of any decision to form a committee in charge of monitoring nuclear negotiating team.
Nothing new has taken place yet in this regard and we should hear words from those raising the topic, Boroujerdi said in an interview with reporters.

He reiterated that nothing new has happened on formation of any committee to supervise performance of the nuclear negotiating team.

He said Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei personally guides the talks and his guidelines are the reference in any decision making on the nuclear issue.

Even if such a committee is formed, I do not think any thing new will happen. We will try to maintain national unity and integrity in nuclear issue so that enemy would not think we are at odds. We all say one thing: nuclear energy is our absolute right, he noted.

He said the output of all new events is in favor of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Majlis and its National Security Commission have a close watch on the events.

The eventual horizon of Geneva deal is the return of Iranian case from the UN Security Council to IAEA, removal of all sanctions and normalization of Irans conditions in connection with peaceful nuclear program, he said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Boroujerdi commented on recent crises in Iraq caused by al-Qaeda terrorist groups, saying agents behind crises in Syria seek to spread the crisis to regional states such as Iraq and Lebanon.

As for Saudi Arabias role in the Levant (ISIS, or Daesh - Arabic initial for ISIS) terrorist act in Lebanon, Boroujerdi said thats an undeniable reality.
