Tehran, Jan 6, IRNA � Defending national interests in the field of cyber space is a task of Foreign Ministry, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Monday in a meeting with Head of the Civil Defense Organization (CDO) Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali.


?The Foreign Ministry believes it is seriously duty bound to legally defend national interests with high sensitivity against enemies measures in cyber space,? Zarif stressed.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed monitoring enemies? new threats against national interest in international arena, legally defending Iranians against enemies? threats in the fields of cyber space as well as economic and environmental activities.
