Iran's non-oil trade totals 62.5 bln USD in 9 months: report

TEHRAN, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- Iran's non-oil trade with the world reached about 62.5 billion U.S. dollars during the first nine months of the current Iranian year which began on March 21, Tehran Times daily reported on Saturday.
According to the latest report released by Iran's Customs Administration, the country exported 29.241 billion U.S. dollars worth of non-oil goods (including gas condensates) and imported 33. 266 billion U.S. dollars worth of non-oil goods during the nine- month period.

The exports and imports fell by 7.7 percent and 16.9 percent respectively compared to the same period last year, said the report.

Iron ore concentrate, urea, and Methanol were the main goods exported, and rice, soy meal, and wheat were the main items imported.

China, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates were the three top importers ofIranian goods during the period, while the United Arab Emirates, China, and India were the leading exporters of goods.
