Several Iranian photography artists have been awarded with the top prize at the 74th edition of INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SALON OF JAPAN, Asahi Shimbun photo contest in Japan.Among the Iranian winners, Sadeq Souri scooped the gold medal of the 2013 photo competition.
Abbas Abbaszadeh, Abbas Haji Mohammadi, Adel Paziar, Ahmad Moini, Arezou Qasemi, Mojgan Ebadi, Saber Qazi and Sasan Javadnia are among the other Iranians who were named at winners lineup.
An exhibition of works created by this years winners has been mounted at the international Salon of the contest in Tokyo.
The exhibition of winning works is also to be held in NAGOYA, OSAKA, FUKUOKA and other major cities in Japan.
The competition annually hosts any professionals and amateurs of different nationalities residing outside Japan.
