Tens of terrorists killed in army’s ambush in Southern Syria

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army killed tens of militants in an ambush in two strategic towns in Reef (outskirts of) Damascus on Wednesday.


The army ambushed 2 armed rebel groups in Kazieh al-Baz region in the Western parts of Adra town in Reef Damascus and killed all the militants.

In another ambush, the Syrian army killed a number of armed rebels in Al-Qaboun town in Damascus countryside and forced a large number of them to flee the area.

On Tuesday, the Syrian army made major advances in the Damascus countryside and regained control of several strategic regions.

The army units took back Al-Mazra’a, Jazeera 4 and Jazeera 9 districts in Adra Al-Amalieh town in Damascus countryside.

The Syrian army conducts regular military operations in different districts of Adra Al-Amalieh in a bid to put an end to the militants’ dominance over these areas and pave the way for the freedom of the residents who are held captive by the militants.
