Moscow, Dec 26, IRNA A senior Russian foreign ministry official underlined that Iran is fully observing the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).Iran is fully observing the contents of the agreement of safeguards of the IAEA, Director of the Russian Foreign Ministrys Security and Disarmament Affairs Administration Mikhail Olianov said.
He reiterated that there is no evidence to indicate that Iran has violated that non-proliferation Treaty (NPT).
It is not known why some western diplomats believe that Iran violates NPT, Olianov said.
We like IAEA are unaware of such violations, he added.
Russia has always supported Irans right to peaceful nuclear energy and the Russian officials have always underlined this issue.
