Moscow, Dec 25, IRNA – Iran and Russia will boost bilateal cooperation to maintain regional security, Iranˈs Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei said on Wednesday.
Sanaei made the remarks in a meeting with Deputy Speaker of Russia’s Upper House of parliament, the Federation Council, Ilyas Umakhanov.
During the meeting, the two discussed major bilateral, regional and international developments including the need for Tehranˈs participation in the Geneva II conference on Syria as well as strengthening bilateral cooepration, particularly in the field of economic and political activities.
Meanwhile, Umakhanov stressed the need for making necessary moves to control the Syrian crisis.
