Iran, P5+1 to go ahead with expert-level talks after Christmas recess: Baeedinejad

Geneva/Tehran, Dec 22, IRNA Head of Iran?s negotiating team in Geneva, Hamid Baeedinejad, said on Sunday that Iran and the P5+1 will go ahead with expert-level talks after the Christmas recess.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Baeedinejad said that it was not possible for the two sides to conclude their talks before Christmas, so they decided to continue the expert-level negotiations after the holidays.

On the atmosphere of talks, Baeedinejad said the two sides were serious and they focused on the details.

Earlier in the day, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU Foreign Policy chief Catherine Ashton held a phone conversation over the expert-level talks and agreed the expert-level talks to continue after Christmas recess.

The latest round of expert-level talks between Iran and the P5+1 to discuss the implementation of the Joint Plan of Action brokered on November 24 has opened in Geneva, Switzerland, on December 19.
