Beirut, Dec 24, IRNA President Hassan Rouhani, in a message on Tuesday congratulated his Lebanese counterpart Michel Suleimanand the Lebanese nation on the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ (PBUH) and advent of the New Year.In his message, Rouhani called for a focus of the international community on teachings of great prophets and on common grounds to bring about peace and friendship among nations.
The president expressed hope that the world community will witness an increase in joint efforts to promote security, stability and friendship among countries.
