Spokesman: Obama to veto new sanctions against Iran

Tehran, Dec 21, IRNA — US State Department Spokesman Alan Eyre announced that President Barack Obama will veto any sanction plan by the House of Senate against Iran.

“The Obama administration is seriously against any new sanctions against Iran or it is not necessary at all,” Eyre said.

He Stressed that the US Congress approach is against Obama administration’s efforts to remove any concerns concerning Iran’s nuclear program.

Eyre said that if the issue of intensification of sanctions against Iran is approved in the Senate President Obama will veto it.
