Iran-world powers’ technical nuclear talks to resume Friday

Tehran, Dec 20, IRNA – Technical negotiations between the Iranian nuclear team and the six world powers which began on Thursday in Geneva, Switzerland, will resume on Friday.
The Iranian delegation, led by Hamid Ba’idinezhad, managing director of the Political and International Affairs Office of the Foreign Ministry, will resume their technical nuclear talks with the representatives of the US, Russia, Britain, France, China, and Germany at 4 pm local time, on devising a practical strategy for implementing the Geneva nuclear agreement, reached on November 24th.

The previous technical talks between the two sides had on December 12th been erupted on its second day due to the inappropriate US move in new inclusion of 19 Iranian and non-Iranian people and companies in US sanctions’ black list for cooperation with Iran.

During the Thursday round of the Iran-P3+3 (also know as G5+1, or E3+3) talks the two sides agreed on implementing the shared action program and surveyed the methods for implementing the deal presented by each of the two sides.

The Islamic Republic and the Sextet on November 24th and after over a decade of negotiations and controversial debates on Iran’s peaceful nuclar program cracked an initial deal, according to which it is was agreed that the two sides would later on devise ways for implementing the deal’s terms within the follwong six months.

The head of the technicians team of the six world powers in this round of talks is Stephen Clements, the special envoy of the EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton.
