TEHRAN, Dec. 18 (MNA) Iran Under-16 football team has been drawn in Group B of the Frenz International Cup U-16 2014.The Frenz International Cup U-16 2014 will be co-hosted by Indonesia and Malaysia from January 11 to 26.
Group A consists of Frenz United of Malaysia, Chinese Aerbin Dalian, Incheon United of South Korea, Turkish Besiktas, Slovakia Under-16 and Brazilian Internacional.
Frenz United of Indonesia, Sporting Lisbon of Portugal, Germanys Eintracht Frankfurt, Iran Under-16, Nigerian Rapture FC and Chonburi FC of Thailand are in Group B.
The Iranian football team will participate in the tournament as part of its preparation for the 2014 AFC U-16 Championship which will be held in Thailand from September 6 to 20.
The top four teams qualify for the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
