TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed settlement of regional disputes and boosting friendship among regional states.
“The new Iranian government attaches great importance to boosting ties with neighboring states and we are willing to expand these relations further,” he said in a meeting with Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan here in Tehran.
He further said there is no obstacle on boosting mutual cooperation between Iran and Armenia in all fields and said the two countries possess great potentials for maturing ties in economic, trade and business areas.
Kocharyan, for his part, expressed the hope that Tehran-Yerevan could develop bilateral ties further through mutual visits by officials of the two states.
