Beijing, Dec 16, IRNA An Iranian physician has been selected as a member of the World Federation of Acupuncture presiding board, it was announced on Monday.
Talking to IRNA, Faculty member of Tehran University of Medical Sciences Amir Hooman Kazemi said the World Federation of Acupuncture general assembly meeting was held in Australian capital, Sidney, last week.
He noted some 168 directors, officials of acupuncture training and complementary medicine research centers from 43 countries were nominated to become a member of World Federation of Acupuncture.
The Iranian physician managed to become a member of the federation presiding board after wining the highest vote.
