Iran oil show scheduled for May 6-9

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran will hold its 19th international Oil and Gas Show from May 6 to 9 in Tehran, director of the exhibition announced.


Akbar Nematollahi told the oil ministry's website that Iranian and foreign companies will massively attend the International Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Exhibition.

He said the Oil Show is aimed at further interaction with Iranian and foreign companies in order to persuade them to attend Tehran Oil Show.

The objectives of the oil show include boosting the capabilities of Iranian manufacturers, said Nematollahi.

Iran has decided to hold the next oil show later than normal due to climatic conditions.

The next oil show will be of great significance in the light of Irans historic nuclear deal with world powers and the willingness of international companies to attend this Iranian event.

Secretariat of the exhibition has started its activities in order to pay the way for greater participation of domestic and foreign oil companies, the official who is also director general of public relations department of Petroleum Ministry concluded.
