TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said Irans drilling industry needs adoption of fundamental approaches for standardizing its activities, boosting its productivity and reforming its structures in line with the petroleum industry development.Zanganeh made the remarks in a message on the occasion of establishment of National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) 34 years ago.
He praised the petroleum industry staff for their success in keeping the oil industry running despite problems and restrictions.
Zanganeh said the establishment of NIDC is a turning point in the countrys petroleum industry, adding that the company has accelerated the industrial blossoming and self-sufficiency of petroleum industry.
He said Iranian drilling experts will benefit from their valuable experiences and use new technologies and methods to contribute to the realization of petroleum industry development objectives.
