Quake shakes southern Iran

Tehran, Dec 10, IRNA A mild earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale shook the vicinity of Shonbeh in the southern province of Bushehr Tuesday morning.
According to seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake occurred at 10:29 hours local time (0659 GMT).


The quake was epicentered in an area located at 28.35 degrees latitude and 51.67 degrees longitude.

There is no report on any possible damage caused by the quake.
