Iran stresses expansion of ties with Africa, diplomat

Tehran, Dec 9, IRNA Deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs said Sunday evening that President Hassan Rouhani has emphasized on fostering relations with African states.
Hossein Amir Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with the Guinean President Alpha Conde.

Abdollahian arrived in Conakry, the Guinean capital, on Sunday to attend the 40th Foreign Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

President Conde, for his part, termed the first step agreement between Iran and 5+1 as important, felicitating President Rouhani on the nuclear achievement.

He said Guinea is ready to expand ties with Iran in all areas.
