Iran invites Japanese firms for investment

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran has invited Japanese firms and companies to make investment in different sectors in the country's market.
"Japanese activists and companies can take part in our country's markets in energy, mining, transportation, petrochemistry and tourism sectors," Iranian President Chief of Staff Mohammad Nahavandiansaid in a meeting with Head of Japanese Foreign Trade Organization Hiroyuki Ishige here in Tehran.

He added the chances for boosting mutual cooperation between Iran and Japan should be best used. "The Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to develop its relations with all countries based on mutual respect and friendship."

The Iranian official noted exchange of high-ranking delegations between Iran and Japan could prove effective in boosting bilateral ties.

Hiroyuki Ishige, for his part, said Japan welcomes presence of Iranian companies in its expos and fairs to show their products and achievements.

He expressed the hope that bilateral ties between the two sides could be developed further.
