TEHRAN, Dec. 8 (MNA) � Iran has been drawn in Group A of the 16th Asian Senior Men's Handball Championship along with powerhouse South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, China and host Bahrain.
Group B consists of Qatar, Japan, the UAE, Kuwait, Iraq and Oman.

The championship will take place from January 25 to February 6 in Bahrain.

The top three finishers all get a place in the 2015 IHF World Men's Handball Championship which will be held with the participation of 24 teams in Qatar.

Matches in the Asian championship will be played at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town and Isa Sports City in Riffa.

The Koreans have won the title in the last three editions of the tournament. They will once again be the team to beat in this year's event.
