Load-out starts in Khorramshahr Yard

TEHRAN Dec 07 (Shana): In order to accelerate operations in South Pars gas field top priority projects, load-out operations in the platform of Phase 18 of this giant offshore field started on Thursday in Khorramshahr Yard.
Managing-Director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Roknoddin Javadi, Managing-Director of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) Ali-Akbar Shabanpour as well as senior experts from these companies attended the load-out start.


Ali Taheri-Motlaq, managing-director of Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC), said construction of the main dock started in 2010.

This offshore structure sprawls on 4,000 square meters. It will be transferred to Phase 18 in ten days to be installed on its jacket, he said.

He added that two months after, a 97-meter-long bridge connecting the dock to the flare platform will be installed.
