Iraqi PM goes on pilgrimage to Mashad

Mashad, Dec 7, IRNA – Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki travelled to eastern city of Mashad to make a pilgrimage to the holy shrine of the eighth Shia Imam Reza (PBUH) on Friday.

He also met with Ayatollah Abbas Vaˈez Tabasi, representative of the supreme leader in Khorasan Razavi province.

Upon his arrival at Mashad airport, al-Maliki called for exchanging experiences between the holy shrine of Mashad with Iraqˈs holy shrines.
