Tehran, Dec 7, IRNA – Inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are to arrive in the Iranian capital Saturday afternoon to inspect Arak heavy water plant.
The inspectors will visit the Arak plant on Sunday after Iran gave a positive response to the IAEA request.
On November 11, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi and Director General of the IAEA Yukiya Amano signed a joint agreement on bilateral cooperation.
According to the agreement, the IAEA inspectors are allowed to voluntarily visit Arak heavy water plant and Gachin mine in Bandar Abbas in south of the country.
This is the third visit of the IAEA inspectors to the Arak heavy water plant.
