TEHRAN (FNA)- An official source said that the Syrian army units have killed dozens of militants in a series of operations in al-Nabek and Yabroud in Damascus countryside, adding that notorious terrorists Mohammad Naseef and Muhannad Ashour were identified among the dead.


The source said that the army also targeted militants in the areas of Douma and Harasta and the farms of Il'ab, al-Abbada and Alya, killing and injuring scores of militants, among them were Aref al-Hajjeh, Mohammad al-Sa'our, Hisham Kabreta and Issam Sweidan.

The army units targeted and killed many militants in operations in the areas of Joubar and Saqba, militant Mohammad al-Ma'touq was identified among the dead.

In Damascus Southern countryside, the army killed a number of militants and destroyed their weaponry and munitions in the areas of Yalda and Daraya, among the killed militants were Raslan al-Biqa'e and Adnan Tayyara.

An army unit targeted and destroyed a militants' hideout in the city of al-Zabadani, killing scores of militants and destroying their weapons and ammunition, among the killed militants were Mohammad Amer and Ahmad Khayto.

Meanwhile, the army clashed with militants in the neighborhoods of al-Qaboun and Barzeh and killed scores of them.
