Tehran, Dec 5, IRNA - Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza conferred in Bali, Indonesia on Thursday with his counterparts from Oman, India and Germany on expansion of mutual economic cooperation.
The Iranian minister is now in Indonesia to attend the 9th World Trade Organization ministerial meeting.

In his meeting with his Omani counterpart, Nematzadeh said grounds are prepared for mutual cooperation in such fields as holding trade fairs, money transfer, banking, gas export, rendering technical and engineering services and tourism.

In his meeting with his Indian counterpart, the two sides discussed removal of existing trade barriers to export of Indian rice, auto parts, construction of refineries, expansion of rail tracks and steel production.

In his meeting with German counterpart, the two sides studied long lasting business cooperation between the two countries in various sectors.

Nematzadeh also called on Germany to support Iran?s bid to join World Trade Organization.

They also reviewed promotion of economic cooperation in the areas of heavy industry, petrochemical and foodstuff industry following lifting of anti-Iran sanctions.
