TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Veteran stars from Iran’s Persepolis football club and the Italian AC Milan played a friendly charity football game here in Tehran on Thursday in which the Italian team beat Persepolis 3-1.
The veteran stars of Milan and Persepolis faced each other in Tehran’s 100,000-seat Azadi Football Stadium on Thursday afternoon local time.
Old superstars of FC Milan, including Sebastian Rossi, Paulo Maldini, Franco Barresi, Daniel Massaro, and a number of other FC Milan stars participated in the game.
The income of the game is to be allocated to support poor children.
