US says Iran nuke deal will not prevent sanctions in Pak pipeline project

The United States has said that the recent agreement reached on the Iran nuclear programme does not change its position on the Iran-Pakistan pipeline project.

State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said the interim deal does not impact the core sanctions country, Dawn News reports.

The Obama administration said that Iran’s pipeline project could still invoke severe sanctions.
