TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called for the further development of trade cooperation with Turkey in all fields, and said the Geneva agreement between Tehran and the world powers prepared the ground for enhancement of relations between Iran and the foreign world.Tehran and Ankara should try to increase the volume of their trade ties to an acceptable level in 2014, Rouhani said in a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Tehran on Wednesday.
He called for the further expansion of economic, cultural and political cooperation with Turkey, and said, The Geneva agreement between Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) has removed the obstacles on the way of developing relations between Iran and other states.
On Sunday, Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) reached a final deal after days of difficult and intensive negotiations and a decade-long nuclear standoff.
The deal includes removal of a part of the US-led West's sanctions Iran's crude supplies, petrochemical exports and part of the banking operations, including the pay-back of Iran's crude export revenues.
According to the deal, no further sanctions will be imposed against Iran. Irans crude sales will be maintained at the current level and Irans oil revenues will also be released.
Sanctions on Irans petrochemical sector will be completely removed and the sanctions on the countrys auto industry will also be lifted.
Sanctions on imports and exports of gold and precious metals, as well as the ban on the insurance of transportation and shipping services will be fully lifted as well.
